Who we are
Karaoke.com.ph is operated by Dial-up Ventures PH (“we”, “us”). We run a marketplace that connects customers with independent karaoke rental operators. Our registered address is 764 Calamansi Street, Juna Subdivision, Matina Crossing, Talomo District, Davao City, Davao del Sur 8000, Philippines.
What we collect
Account details. Your name, email address, and how you sign in. If you use a social login, we receive the identifier and basic profile the provider shares with us.
Booking details. The event address, your mobile number, the rental dates and the machine you chose. Name and mobile number are collected at checkout so the operator can coordinate delivery.
Payment details. Payments are processed by PayMongo. We never see or store your card number, GCash or Maya credentials. We receive the payment status, the amount and a payment reference.
Operator details. If you list machines, we collect your business name, contact details, the areas you serve, your machine listings and the documents you submit for verification.
Technical data. Device and browser type, IP address, pages visited and the approximate location you allow the browser to share, used to suggest nearby results.
How we use it
- To show you only the operators whose service area covers your event address on your dates.
- To create, confirm and manage your bookings, and to send booking notifications by email or SMS.
- To process deposits, service fees and refunds through PayMongo.
- To pass delivery details to the operator you booked, as described below.
- To verify operators, prevent fraud and keep the platform safe.
- To answer support requests and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
What operators can see
Before a booking is confirmed, an operator sees your location at city or barangay level only. Once your payment confirms the booking, the operator you booked receives your name, exact event address and mobile number so they can deliver and coordinate with you. Every access to these details is logged.
If a booking is cancelled, your address and mobile number are hidden from the operator once the refund has settled.
Who we share it with
- The operator you book, as described above.
- PayMongo, which processes payments and refunds under its own privacy policy.
- Service providers that host our systems and send our email and SMS notifications, acting only on our instructions.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Booking and payment records are kept for retained only as long as operationally or legally required, and deleted or anonymised once that need ends after the rental to meet tax, accounting and dispute-handling requirements. After that they are deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; we will do so except where we are legally required to retain specific records.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) you have the right to be informed, to access and correct your data, to object to its processing, to have it erased or blocked, to data portability, and to be indemnified for damages. You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit, access inside our team is limited to people who need it, and access to customer contact details by operators is audit-logged. No system is perfectly secure, so if we learn of a breach that affects you we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to protect the site against cross-site request forgery. We do not use analytics cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own.
Children
Karaoke.com.ph is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will also notify you by email before it takes effect.
